If you are using forms or you're considering using forms on your web site as a means to generate sales or for having customers contact you, you could be losing business by using form processing which doesn't work with all browsers. Having the browser send a form submission directly to an email address has the following problems:
- Some web browsers are not setup to properly send the information and will just fail without warning.
- Even if the user's browser is configured correctly, they will receive a security alert warning them that their personal email address will be revealed – many people will choose to cancel the form rather than reveal personal information
Fortunately, there is a solution for users of NetObjects Fusion. The Quick Form Mailer, one of our most popular components, enables you to have any form on your site submitted to any e-mail addresses you choose, and you won't have to waste time trying to configure CGI programs to work with your ISP. Just drop the Quick Form Mailer onto your form, set a few fields, and then publish your site to any web server. You now have instant form to e-mail support, guaranteed, regardless of the user's browser or your ISP's web server.

As with most of our components, the Quick Form Mailer has an easy-to-use point and click interface:
Configure the basic settings, adjust how it looks on your page, add any required fields you need. Advanced settings allow you to control how the email is generated, even allowing for foreign language support:
How does it work?
When the user submits the form, the form gets sent to BitMotion's server where all the form fields are extracted and an e-mail message is then generated and sent to the e-mail address you specify. This means that the Quick Form Mailer works with absolutely any web server your hosting company uses and, unlike other form utilities, no Java or other problematic software is required for visitors on your web site.
The Quick Form Mailer service works for as many pages within your domain as you want. Support for multiple domains requires multiple licences. Quantity discount rates apply when purchasing five or more licenses (starting at a discount of 20%) — the order form will automatically calculate and display your discount. Or you can support an unlimited number of forms on as many domains as you want with the per-email address license.

The Quick Form Mailer supports file attachments, enabling people to submit photos, resumes, Word documents, or any file at all!
Features in a nutshell:
- Supports multiple recipients – one submission can be sent to many different email addresses (using the per-domain license)
- Redirect to a "thank you" page upon submission. This can be an html page or even the URL of a file for automated downloading.
- Supports required fields with required field types. Specifying a required field type means that the data entered by the user must conform to that type (eg: if you ask for an email address, the user can´t specify "asdfasdf" to just fill in the field – it must be in the user@domain.xyz format). Seventeen different field types are currently supported:

- Set the urgency and priority of emailed responses – this can be used to mark sales leads as urgent so that you can follow-up as soon as possible!
- Supports international character sets (pre-defined or specify your own) for accepting form submissions in any language.
- If you are collecting the user´s name and email address, you can choose to have an email auto-response sent out to the user with a message (eg: "Thank you for your submission..."). This works great for providing additional information to the user or even a marketing message.
